This morning I sat in the hottub as the sun attempted to peek through the thick clouds and snow of a cold winter morning. I set my book aside and sat quietly, focusing on the tasks of a busy squirrel in my backyard. The squirrel stopped occasionally, to chat with other squirrels who managed to hop from the fence to the tree and then ultimately onto the white blanket of untouched snow in my backyard. He ran from fence to fence, gathering up items as if to prepare for a long winter. Stupid ass squirrel, that snow won't last through the weekend. It's going to be near 60 degrees on Sunday. The squirrels in my neighborhood are dumbshits.

I have never met squirrels like those that are located in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. These devilish creatures are afraid of nothing and no one. I actually think they will soon take over that poor city. They are already taking hold of the campus housing with their nut chucking and coniving antics. The way they act we should watch our backs and what we say...I wouldn't be suprised if the mutiny is prevelant out here in lovely Colorado.

What are you, a poet now?
Is Eau Claire near St. Olaf? We used to have giant black nut chucking squirrels in St. Olaf.
