Getting started
Many of you have begun asking me to post my daily activities online. This is the place to do it, so I hear. Well, here we go. Today I did stuff at work. And I sawed an aluminum threshold to a length of 29 inches for the backdoor to my house. It will keep the cold air out. It will keep the warm air in. In the summer time it will do the opposite. Somehow it knows to do the opposite. I think it takes its cues from the leaves on the trees or maybe the migrating birds. I think I will like it a lot. I already do, and it's not even installed yet. It's in my car, in the trunk, nearer to the passenger side. I will install it tonight.

I think you should post a picture of you sitting in front of the threshold, after installation, in a ribbed lawn chair. Im dying to see what it looks like. The lawn chair, not the threshold.
Dan. Give me a call sometime. I'm very fascinated with aluminum. 29 inches you say? What's the girth? Load capacity? Tensile strength? Thats some aluminum... Maybe post a picture of your aluminum next time.
