I'm tired of seeing photos that people take of themselves. They should be banned from Facebook or MySpace, and from the internet altogether, and banned from photo albums and scrapbooks as well. In fact, cameras should be created with software that recognizes an outstretched arm and then deletes the photo immediately. I can't decide if I feel as if taking a photo of one's self is an act of vanity or an act expression of loneliness. Either way it's not a good feature of one's personality. And if you can't figure out how to set the timer on a camera or can't find one friend to take a photo of you, you don't deserve to be in a photo. Okay then. I think we've closed the book on that issue.

What if you are manning (or womanning) a post on the South Pole and you need to document your experience and the closest mammal is a penguin and there is nothing to set it on for a self-timer? Would you allow it then?
Didn't you take your main picture in your profile yourself????
lol! you took a thought right otta my brain on this one! If it weren't for the timer on my camera, my mug wouldn't be anywheres on the intertubes.
