Sunflowers, as a byproduct

I decided to feed the birds near my house. This was not an altruistic gesture. I was less interested in their nutrition, and more interested in my avian viewership. These birds are pretty damn cool. They are right outside of the window of my kitchen. Often when I'm making a sandwich, with turkey or chicken meat ironically, they watch me as they are eating the seeds I put in their feeder. Turns out, they are wasting the food I give them. I'm kinda pissed at their wastefulness, given the Al Gore carbon-footprint thing of late, but at least I'll have a nice little garden of sunflowers to show for their hap-hazard way of eating.

I bet when they are eating and see you throw food in the sink, down the disposal, they get upset too.

Birds. Can't live with them, can't kill them. Unless no one is looking.

Dan's poem,
A little bird stood soft and still...right upon my window sill. I coaxed him near with crumbs of bread..and then I smashed his f**&%ing head.

I think you should mix some antacids with the sunflowers to see what happens when the eat it....

In honor of Becky's wedding last weekend, I think your next blog should be about sex for the first time after marriage, and is it really worth the wait?
