Let's say you wanted to practice your golf swing by chipping whiffle golf balls into a bucket in your backyard. I have some advice for you - don't put the bucket on top of an ant hill. Especially if they are fire ants. It's been three days now and these bites still itch like you would not believe. Yesterday I bought some fire ant poison and coated the hill. It says they should all be dead within 12 hours, but I'm afraid to go check.

Go buy some camo pants and shirt, tactically make your way to the hill, they will never see you.
Are you crazy? You're in the south! Get'cha a box dry grits, and pour'em down the hole. The "worker" ants bring'em to the queen and hopefully she'll eat'em. The grits'll blow'er up.
